M1FNE Internet Voice Link

The 2 Metre Gateway Is now on unattended operation most of the time with the callsign MB7INE.

To access the gateway just listen for a few seconds to make sure its not in use and call in. A CTCSS tone of 118.8 is required for the 2 metre link, the Tx and Rx frequencies are 145.3375Mhz.

The actual schedule is

RX: 145.3375Mhz

Mode: F3E

Power: 10 dbw from a Diamond Tri bander at about 28 masl.

I am located in Jarrow, Tyne and Wear, Lat:...54:57:41N, Long:....1:29:35W, LOC: IO94gx
The CW Ident is De M1FNE at 15wpm and the courtesy tone is I (for Internet)
The software used is EQSO and the gateway is connected to room 101 English
The Radio is a Standard vhf/UHF Homebase ( with huge heatsincs)

Because of the nature of the internet there may be a delay before the other station returns to you, this is unavoidable and you will probably find that a longer `over` will work better. To tell if the gateway is active , just listen for a few seconds then call in. If its on you will hear the morse letter I.
